Germantown Business Info Session: Creative Ways of Financing Your Business, Wednesday, March 15

Germantown United CDC’s next Germantown Business Info Session, organized in partnership with The Business Center, will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 8am – 9:30am at the Germantown Life Enrichment Center, located at 5722 Greene Street (across from Vernon Park). Start your day with us! Refreshments will be provided.

Save the Date: Germantown Second Saturday Festival is May 13

The third annual Germantown Second Saturday Festival, presented by Historic Germantown and Germantown United CDC, will be held at Market Square Park on Saturday, May 13, 2017. We will be seeking performers, vendors and community organizations to table at the event.

2016 Annual Campaign Surpasses Goal with $49,375 Raised

gu-movingforwardAll of us at Germantown United CDC thank all of you who contributed to our successful Annual Campaign. We not only achieved our goal but exceeded it – a total of $49,375! We can now continue our work to improve Germantown’s business corridors in 2017 and beyond. Our work includes (but is not limited to):
  • Working with the Germantown business community to build strong businesses and increase employment opportunities;
  • Second Annual Germantown Second Saturday Festival;
  • Street Tree plantings and maintenance on the corridors;
  • Supporting new community planning efforts to broaden and increase the voice of Germantown’s residents to direct and build Germantown for the future;
  • And so much more.
Thanks to all of you who support us in our efforts to promote Germantown’s past, highlight it’s present, and build toward its future. We wish you all a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2017.
