What You’ll Do:
Welcome & Support New Members: Complete intakes and orient new participants to Center in the Park’s programs and services.
Connect People to Resources: Help members access benefits, entitlements, and supportive services by completing applications and providing follow-up.
Be a Trusted Counselor: Offer support to members and their families, helping them navigate challenges with care and compassion.
Promote Wellness: Manage CIP’s wellness screenings, providing follow-up and keeping accurate records.
Lend a Helping Hand: Oversee our small emergency food pantry and monthly boxed food program to ensure members have access to essential items when needed.
Coordinate Community-Based Services: Provide support and referrals to homebound older adults, including the provision of emergency assistance funding for older adults facing critical needs.
What You Bring:
A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.
Experience working with older adults, especially in social services.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of casework process and practice.
Comfort with technology, including Excel and Outlook.
A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (preferred).
